三月，正是春暖花开之时。疫情防控取得了阶段性胜利的好消息纷至沓来，鼓舞着人心。欣慰之余，南京师范大学泰州学院外国语学院的学子们，用“语”众不同的方式向战“疫”发声。他们，以言抒“情”，以诗载“愿”，以墨绘“冀”，讴歌着“生来平凡，何所畏惧”的战“疫”英雄们……

Purgatory to Sanctuary

My pneumonia, you inspire me to write；

How I watch you sting yet unite. 

Invading everyone’s mind day and night；  

Always finding ways to keep us in the weak upright.

Bringing our fellow people to solidarity；

Then comes the decrease of mortality.

Let me compare you to a God’s ordeal；

Prompting our Eden’s garden be more ideal.

Let me preliminarily compare you to a purgatory；

But you gonna ultimately become a sanctuary.

Cold snow chills the berries of January, and winter time has the stressful chokehold；

Thinking of your bold fight，I watch you with an eye of doubt.        

Now I must away with an unique heart；

Remember my bleak words while you fall apart.

We may be frustrated originally；

We may be relieved finally.

My great country consists of the people from all the sectors；

What is bound to be the end of the outbreak is we are the victors！

I want to give you a wig

Because of the outbreak

You shaved your head

I know you care about beauty

My fair lady

Even in the room of emergency

You meticulously cure your hair

You gently comb your hair

Like a plush toy lying on the chair

Now you're in protective clothing

worked around the clock without stopping

Care for patients because of your duty

You continue to shuttle in the ward

Rest assured 

Your pride of passing through that door

Your visage covered by the mask

Will be released in the spring

And also your beautiful wing

Put a Pillar above My Head

Tonight, 

severe cold is locked in the black corner.

I clasped my hands，

praying for a small flash of light.

Tonight，

the cordon is surrounded by pieces of worry.

Beyond it is the wanton spread of human suffering

with the same color of nights.

So the midnight bell ring.

In a daze,

they are like the waking grounds of countless souls

of the eternal soft light.

Consolidation, inspiration 

and expectation of life.

Tonight，

I put a pillar above my head.

It lit up a white sheet of figures，

like snow and ice outside the winter window，

running tirelessly towards the dawn.

The Dawn of Darkness

Look at the city

Way up on high

Darkness have passed

Now then at last

Virus and devils have disappeared

The season of doom has passed

Stars brightly burning

Boiling and lightning

The city has got its tear back

And those frightening things will never be back

Once upon the night

People will wake to the carnival of life

The darkness has been cursed

And the candle has been lightened
